It is hard to write about yourself when you no longer define yourself as an individual. This sounds kind of sad but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am best defined as a mom. I have been blessed with two wonderful little boys. Grant is three, Carter is 17 months. They are my life. I am a wife 4+ years to Casey. I am a daughter to Dick and Debbie. A sister to Paula, Laura, Lisa, Emma, Kevin, Alex, Erich, Carla, and Kurt (big Catholic family-details to follow). I have perfectly adorable nieces and nephews, and a few close friends that have weathered life's storms with me and stood by me through it all. I try to be everything to everyone all the time.
I am tragically devoted to my job. I say tragically because I often find my dedication pulls me in hundreds of directions when I really just want to stay at home with my boys and snuggle.
I am not a fan of Jon and Kate Plus 8 or I guess it is Kate Plus 8 now but I agree with the quote at the open of the show....
It's a crazy life, but it's our life.
